State consumer rights protection authority (in Lithuanian Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba) is a state institution that implements the state consumer rights protection policy in the areas of consumer rights protection, supervision of the non-food market and the activities of tourism service providers.

Investigate cases of consumer rights violations
You can contact the Authority if:
- you have a dispute with a seller or service provider about the quality of a non-food product or service
- you bought a product from an e-shop and didn't receive it, or you received a product other than the one you ordered
- you have noticed potentially unfair terms in your contract with the seller or service provider
- you believe that the information provided by the seller about the product or service is incomplete, unclear or not provided at all
- the seller does not accept a quality product that is on the list of goods to be returned and the deadline of 14 days from the date of purchase has not passed.

Information about dangerous products
The Authority publishes information about dangerous non-food products produced in Lithuania or supplied from the Member States of the European Union or from other countries that have been banned by the Authority. See the database.

The Authority can help you with various consumer rights related questions, but keep in mind that they cannot act as your lawyer, give unlimited free legal aid or represent you in court.
